Mommy & Daddy are feeling more and more lucky that we live in the D.C. area and have infinite exposure and opportunity to visit all of the museums in D.C. The best part? It’s all for FREE!
A few weeks ago, Mommy and Daddy took me to the Museum of Natural History again. It was great because Mommy was able to come with us and enjoy the free museums of D.C. It had been probably 10+ years since Mommy has gone into the Museum of Natural History so everything seemed like it had been renovated.

The cool thing we discovered is that there are impromptu lessons about natural history given by museum curators geared towards kids. The curators have a cart of their “supplies” and just position themselves in the walkways of the exhibits and will start teaching anyone about their subject. I surprised Mommy because I actually listened to one of the curators talk for about 15 minutes about using clues in skulls to determine how a vertebrae walks. Mommy was happy I could focus for that long.

We also visit a “Discovery Room” for kids where there are items for kids to explore. This is where I met an alligator up close.

I also discovered other cool things such as bear feet and an skeleton.
