Even Superman Needs Sleep

Mommy snapped this photo while I was napping in their bed one afternoon.

I still take afternoon naps about 60-70% of the time. When I do nap, it is usually for about two hours. My favorite place to nap is, of course, in Mommy and Daddy’s bed, but it usually does not happen.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to comment on my own sleeping habits. I’ve always been a great sleeper starting at three months and Mommy and Daddy are grateful for that. For the past one to two months, I have started to wake up in the middle of the night around 4 AM, walked to Mommy and Daddy’s room and crawled in between them. Mommy loved it because it was nice to wake up and see me so peacefully sleeping, but after a couple of months of losing sleep and getting daily doses of getting kicked in the shoulders/head/face, Mommy and Daddy decided to follow the rules of toddler sleep training — walked me back to my room and let me sleep there.

It has worked. These child development people DO know something after all!

For the past three days, I have slept in my room the whole night myself without walking to Mommy and Daddy’s room.

Ugh UGGS!

Here I am wearing Aunt Holly’s UGGS! Mommy doesn’t own a pair of these trendy Australian boots, but when I laid eyes on Aunt Holly’s, I just had to try them on. Who can resist all that warm fuzziness?

By the way, so sorry for the 2 month hiatus of no new entries. Mommy had some issues to deal with, but now we are back with a vengeance.

How, you ask?

Well, my super computer whiz Daddy found a great new app that will allow Mommy and Daddy to write entries on the iPhone and also upload photos from the iPhone library directly. This saves a lot of time in trying unto upload photos and linking the photos to the entries. Way to go, Daddy!
