I’ve started to realize I can do cool things with my body and started to do done acrobatics. It’s cool to see my body suspended in the air.
Even Superman Needs Sleep
Mommy snapped this photo while I was napping in their bed one afternoon.
I still take afternoon naps about 60-70% of the time. When I do nap, it is usually for about two hours. My favorite place to nap is, of course, in Mommy and Daddy’s bed, but it usually does not happen.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to comment on my own sleeping habits. I’ve always been a great sleeper starting at three months and Mommy and Daddy are grateful for that. For the past one to two months, I have started to wake up in the middle of the night around 4 AM, walked to Mommy and Daddy’s room and crawled in between them. Mommy loved it because it was nice to wake up and see me so peacefully sleeping, but after a couple of months of losing sleep and getting daily doses of getting kicked in the shoulders/head/face, Mommy and Daddy decided to follow the rules of toddler sleep training — walked me back to my room and let me sleep there.
It has worked. These child development people DO know something after all!
For the past three days, I have slept in my room the whole night myself without walking to Mommy and Daddy’s room.
