First “Real” Haircut by Mommy

At the rate my hair grows, my last haircut in NYC 2 months ago seems like eons ago.  Because our next trip to NYC probably won’t be until Christmas, Mommy had to take matters into her own hands and give me a haircut.  I think I’ve shown some maturity these past few weeks, enough that Mommy thought she could try to give me a haircut with a clipper.  Yes, the dreaded clipper.  The clipper that made me cry my eyes out at the barber in NYC.  Mommy & Daddy were prepared this time.  They brought out “Lion King” on the IPad and they kept prepping me for the big event all day long.  Mommy & Daddy have discovered that prepping me helps tremendously.  I, like most people, like to be notified of impending change.

Here I am…finally NOT crying during a haircut!

Japanese Honey Cake

So, my A-Gong is really good at making Japanese honey cake.

I haven’t mentioned too much about my A-Gong because Mommy really only has a biological relationship with him.  However, he happens to be friends with GongGong and PoPo, so one day, GongGong and PoPo brought me over to his house.  A-Gong got wind that I liked his Japanese honey cakes and ever since then, I’ve been given loaf after loaf of this yummy goodness.

Here I am totally eating this stuff up!
