It’s Another 70 Degree Day…

…but too bad Mommy had to be on call at the hospital for 16 hours. 

So Daddy had the honor of taking care of me and I must say he did a mighty fine job!  I was asleep by 7:30 PM and didn’t wake up until 8:30 AM this morning. 

Check out my new Bumbo, a South African-made creation that enables me to sit *on* the dinner table with Mommy and Daddy.  It frees their hands to eat and I can also watch from a good vantage point at all the goodies that one day I’ll get to eat.  Don’t I look like a bully in this photo?  Daddy thought it would be funny to let me sit in it semi-nude…rest assured, I have my diapers on.

Meeting Bossie

I always knew Mommy and Daddy had two four-legged children before I came into this world.  I’m also used to hearing them bark at all hours of the day and night, but I never really acknowledged Bossie until now.  Bossie and I weigh about the same and since we’re kind of the same height when I sit down, we can see eye to eye.  You can see us checking each other out:

I was a little bit confused by this furry thing that didn’t really look like Mommy or Daddy or any of the other humans in my life, but I was intrigued by her color contrast.  Bossie was also nice enough to let me run my hands across her legs.  Little does she know that I’m going to be her best friend when I grow up.

I got a little tired after meeting Bossie, so I took a nap on Mommy’s chest:
